We’ve been integrated with Infusion Accounting Software for a while now, and we’re excited to announce that we’ve worked closely with the Infusion team to make it even better for our customers.
We’re still integrating with platforms like Xero, MYOB, and a wide range of other systems, including time and attendance and HR software—keeping all your essential tools connected and working smoothly together.
With the new API integration, transferring wage information from Crystal Payroll to Infusion’s “Cashbook Payments” section is now faster and easier than ever. A single click is all it takes to send your payroll data directly, saving you time and reducing manual input. It’s a smoother, more efficient way to manage your payroll and accounting.

Please be aware that IRD services will be down from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25th, until 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29th.
During this period, you will not be able to submit payday filings. However, since this is a planned outage, you won’t face any penalties if your payday filing is due during this time and you’re unable to submit it because of the outage. | | | | | | Quick Compliance Check: Are Your Leave Settings Correct?
| | Recently, we’ve noticed some clients mistakenly enabling an option in the company leave pay rate settings to avoid paying the higher rate when an employee takes annual leave. In one case, this led to six years of underpayments that had to be reconciled.
This is a friendly reminder to follow system warnings carefully. If you have questions about how Crystal Payroll calculates annual leave, contact our Learning and Development team.
Here’s what you need to know:
Annual leave must be paid at the higher of either the ordinary weekly pay or the average weekly earnings. If employees work more than their “Default Hours” set in the system, their annual leave should reflect a higher pay rate.
There’s an alternative option to base leave on gross earnings, but it’s only for employees with unpredictable work patterns. In this case, the option was enabled for employees with a regular work schedule, leading to incorrect payments. Employees were paid at their base rate, not accounting for additional hours worked.
This resulted in underpayments that had to be corrected. Just like with a car, even with safety features, careful use is essential to avoid issues.
